Dr John Tickell

Peace of Mind Foundation are excited to announce our upcoming guest speaker at brain tumour support group on March 20th at 7 pm. The incredible Dr John Tickell will be joining us, bringing with him a mind blowing amount of experience, wisdom and knowledge, not just on brain cancer but ALL things health related!!

Dr John Tickell is not only a brain cancer survivor but also a Medical Doctor, an international speaker, bestselling author and television personality, who has spent the last 25 years researching the health, well-being and longevity patterns of people around the world

Dr John and his wife Sue have five children, two are Medical Doctors, who with Dr John, have visited in total over 100 countries in our world, studying the living and eating habits of the longest living healthiest people on earth – the Onkinawans in Japan.

He has also become a prominent developer of environmentally friendly golf courses and lifestyle retreats including the Hyatt Regency Coolum and The Heritage Golf and Country Club in the Yarra Valley.

And oh yes, he is also the father of 5 children, has multiple grandchildren, played first grade football with the Hawthorn Hawks in the 1960s and produced a No. 1 Top 40 hit record!! And we get the pleasure of his company at our brain cancer support group.

Family Day Out

Come along to the Peace of Mind Foundation “Family Day Out” held on Sunday 23rd April from 1pm to 4pm, 84 Heales Road, Lara.

Sure to be a hit with the entire family. This FREE event will have fun activities for all ages, a bbq lunch, excavator digging, tractor rides, Harley and muscle car cruises. All ages are welcome. Bring the kids for a fun day out on the farm!!
