Director & Chair

Carolyn joins the Peace of Mind Foundation as our newly appointed Chair.   Her background and expertise is based upon having worked across a variety of high-profile international organisations such as NBN, KPMG, IBM, BHP and Alcoa, and at a government level within both the Federal and State systems. Her experience traverses both the technical and human resource landscapes, having undertaken senior leadership roles across many of the corporate environments.

At a personal level, Carolyn is passionate about all things Geelong; she was born and raised in Geelong, raised her two sons in Geelong, and is a one-eyed Geelong Football Club supporter!

She is a keen bike rider, enjoys the great outdoors and recently completed the iconic Tasmanian Overland Track with a 15kg backpack to add to the challenge!

Having only just ‘partially’ retired, Carolyn has been keen to identify opportunities where she can use her expertise to give back to her community.  The role of Chair on the Peace of Mind Foundation has been such an opportunity.  The POMF organisation’s success in supporting and servicing an ever-growing network of clients, is also an opportunity for Carolyn to apply her expertise in assisting Peace of Mind to become more robust and sustaining for the future needs of its clientele and the broader organisation.

It is with this focus, Carolyn is keen to become involved in all aspects of the POMF organisation, and all of its stakeholders, not only as the newly appointed Chair, but also as a keen volunteer in supporting the POMF vision.
