Applying for financial assistance
To receive a financial grant patients can apply directly, or be referred by a health professional or social worker.
To be successful, patients must meet the following criteria:
Be diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour (higher grades prioritised)
Be experiencing financial hardship
Provide a signed referral by your GP, oncologist or social worker outlining your diagnosis and current treatment plan (must be on official letterhead)

All successful applicants will be notified within 7 days of submitting their application. If you are unsuccessful the first time around then your application can be used again for the following month (no need to reapply each month).
Peace of Mind Foundation would like to acknowledge and thank the Superheroes Foundation for their generous support of this program. The Superheroes Foundation was created to assist families experiencing severe financial hardship caused by a brain cancer diagnosis, and in partnership with Peace of Mind Foundation, funds small financial grants for patients in financial difficulty.
