National Advocacy Service Client Support Specialist

Fiona’s personal experience with Brain Cancer, and the struggles associated with finding help and guidance, led her to Peace of Mind Foundation.  Initially volunteering and assisting families to gain access to the NDIS service, helping them gain invaluable help and assistance in their daily lives.

Having over 35 years professional experience in logistics and customer service, Fiona is used to working in a fast paced corporate environment, but is now utilising her skills in the not for profit world.

Fiona is passionate about helping people, empowering them with guidance and encouragement.  It is evident through the results achieved, that advocacy for our Brain Cancer Community is highly needed and warranted.  Recognising that not all people are able to find a voice for themselves, when lost in the heartache of this disease, she is ready to step up and assist in any way that she can.

Her passion is to ensure that all families in the brain cancer community are provided with the highest level of support available to them. When not working, Fiona enjoys being at home with her family, cooking, baking and gardening.
