Lauren King

Western Victoria Community Brain Cancer Navigator

Lauren brings a wealth of experience and a compassionate approach to patient care as Peace of Mind Foundation’s Western Victoria Community Brain Cancer Navigator. As a registered nurse working in the Bendigo community, Lauren’s role helps bridge the gap between hospital and home life, providing a continuum of care for patients and families.

Recognising the role as an opportunity to improve and enhance the overall experience for those families impacted by brain cancer, Lauren was drawn to Peace of Mind Foundation because of the wholistic approach to the challenges of this diagnosis.

Lauren’s professional nursing experience has seen her in roles in acute and urgent care, palliative care and aged care as well as working with GP’s across the Bendigo region.

Outside of her busy family life as mum to four children, Lauren loves to bake and create dinner theme nights, read, spend time in nature walking her dog and visiting local wineries.
