Wendy Gulash
National Advocacy Service Advocate
My name is Wendy, I have always valued supporting families in our community. I have come into this role wanting to help people/families within the brain cancer community access the support & resources that they need. I strongly believe that everyone deserves good medical & mental health care. Accessibility isn’t always the easiest to navigate, I’m passionate about helping that journey be a simpler one.
Before coming to POMF I have previously worked as a support worker with women & their families during their pregnancies & beyond. I value building connections & having a holistic approach when supporting people through difficult situations/times.
In my spare time I love spending time with my daughters or going on a hike with my dog Tilly. Anything outdoors is usually how I spend my free time, unless I’m curled up on the couch with a good book & coffee.
